Located in Chelsea, Printed Matter offers thousands of artists books, zines, and other publications for viewing and purchase. Here you'll with unique binding methods, analogue printing techniques, and unusual dimensions. The books are anything but traditional; the shelves offer surprise after surprise.

Every so often, I visit to flip through whatever is displayed upon the tables, which renew frequently. Even the contents of the books vary greatly: some offer a narrative, some a sequence, and some a simple collection of text, visuals, or concepts.

If you are unable to visit NYC, Casa Bosques in CDMX also holds a similar offering of artist books and is equally worth the time!
